Amy Braz has been EPA Region 1's EJ Coordinator since July 2008. As EJ Coordinator, she works to integrate environmental justice principles into all of the Region's programs, policies and activities. She also works directly with communities to build their capacity to address local environmental and public health issues. Prior to moving to Boston, Amy worked at EPA headquarters in the Office of Environmental Justice, where her project areas include advancing environmental justice integration throughout the Agency.

Prior to joining EPA, Amy worked in the private sector as a Project Manager for Tetra Tech EM Inc., where she managed projects related to the development and implementation of numerous EPA training courses and conferences. Amy earned a B.S. degree in Environmental and Renewable Resource Economics from Pennsylvania State University and a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Environmental and Public Policy from The George Washington University.
